Dr. Meghan Barnard

Dr. Meghan Barnard serves as the seventh president of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. A respected Christian higher education leader, she is known for her strategic vision, commitment to academic excellence and unwavering dedication to student success. Throughout her career, she has led institutions through significant growth and transformation while remaining deeply committed to Christ-centered education and preparing students to fulfill their God-given calling.

Prior to joining ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, Dr. Barnard served as provost and senior vice president at Southeastern University, one of the fastest-growing private doctoral universities in the nation, where enrollment grew more than 200 percent over a decade. She provided executive leadership for the university’s academic enterprise, leading initiatives that strengthened student outcomes, expanded academic offerings and positioned the institution for long-term growth and impact.

Dr. Barnard has championed innovative approaches to higher education by streamlining degree pathways, launching high-demand academic programs in counseling, hospitality and medical sciences, and expanding experiential learning opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world purpose. She has also cultivated strategic partnerships with churches, ministries, educational organizations and nonprofit leaders around the world, extending access to Christ-centered education for thousands of learners.

An award-winning academic leader, Dr. Barnard has served on numerous academic committees, received research grants and scholarships, and presented her work at national and international conferences. In addition to speaking engagements, she contributes widely to the academy with writing several journal articles. She is committed to educating transformational leaders for the Glory of God.
